I kid you not - the newspaper I just read had a headline and a story about a well known Vet who wants the Government to bring in Legislation to fine people who don't take their pets for a walk! What a laugh... Before we start blaming people for making their pets fat and giving them diabetes, why not fine adults for not taking their KIDS for a walk? That is way more relevant to our broadening society which I think has basically lost the plot. Of course, a dog is a Man's best friend and whilst we care so much about our pets, many of us don't give two hoots about the inactive kids who are slaughtering themselves with more and more junk food and bigger and bigger sugary / chemical ridden drinks! |
